How to use our search

By default, we search for every single word you enter, so if you enter kimbo knockout, then it searches for videos that have both kimbo and knockout in the title, the description or the tags. However, savvy searchers know to use what the techies call “operators,” and I’m going to call “cheats.” The cheats are a fast way to get to exactly the results you want.


Cheat Meaning Example
“ ” Matches exact phrase “kimbo tests” This will search for the phrase in the exact order entered.
OR Search any word listed. kimbo or tests Will search for anything with the word “kimbo” or the word “tests”
- Will exclude the word following the symbol. Useful for words with multiple meanings. kimbo -tests Will search for content that matches the word “kimbo”, but does not include the word “tests”
+ Since Break excludes certain characters to improve speed, any word preceded by this cheat will be included in the search. kimbo tests +I Will search for content containing “kimbo” and “tests” and “I”
~ Fuzzy Searches ~kimbo tests Will search for • “kimbo” and “tests, • synonyms for “kimbo” and “tests”, • words that sound like “kimbo” and “tests” like “bimbo” and “breasts.” Have fun with this one!
? Single Character Wild Cards (Works only with single terms, not full phrases) te?ts Looks for terms that match that with the single character replaced. The one above might return content with “texts” or “tests.”
“word1 word2” ~9 Proximity Search “kimbo tests” ~7 Entering two words in quotation marks, a tilde, and a number, will kick off the Proximity Search. For example, with the phrase above, it looks for the words “kimbo” and “tests” within 7 words of each other.
